Ingredients
Here are the ingredients you will need for this perfect holiday appetizer:
- Fresh cranberries: Fresh cranberries can be found in the produce section of the grocery store. They are the perfect combination of sweet and tart.
- Cranberry juice: This is used in the cranberry sauce to give it a little extra cranberry flavor.
- Honey: Honey is used in the cranberry sauce for added sweetness.
- Orange juice: You can use store bought orange juice or fresh squeezed in the cranberry sauce.
- Crescent rolls: One tube of crescent rolls will be needed per wreath.
- Brie cheese: Individual pre-packed brie works great in this recipe. See this one on Amazon as an example! You could also use a wheel of brie cut into wedges, but it might run out the sides of the crescent rolls a bit. That's totally ok - just scrape the runny cheese off the sides of the wreath before serving!
Directions
Let's make this recipe together! To begin, preheat the oven to 375°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make the Cranberry Sauce
Step 1: In a small saucepan bring the cranberry juice to a simmer over medium heat.
Step 2: Add the honey and stir it to combine.
Step 3: Add the cranberries and orange juice. Continue to simmer until it thickens. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the cranberry sauce to cool.
Assemble the Wreath
Step 1: Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles at the perforations. Lay out the triangles in a circle, with the wide ends, or the base of the triangles, overlapping and making up the inner circle and the thin ends at the outer end.
Step 2: Spoon cranberry sauce over the inner part of the circle.
Step 3: Top the cranberry sauce with the wedges of brie.
Step 4: Fold the narrow ends of the triangle crescent rolls over the brie and fold the triangle tips under the wide end of the triangle.
Step 5: Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown. Cut into slices with a sharp knife or a pizza cutter. Serve immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions
You could, but it won’t have as much flavor as the cranberry sauce in the recipe. The fresh cranberries that are cooked down into a jam-like consistency are really what makes this recipe so unique. If you choose to use canned over homemade cranberry sauce, I would use about 1 cup.
This is a simple fix. Just take a knife and scrape the melted cheese back into the cracks where the cheese melted out or spread it on top!
Serve this baked cranberry and brie wreath warm out of the oven. Transfer from the baking sheet to a serving platter and slice into pieces.
