This copycat Cheesecake Factory Four Cheese Pasta recipe is SO delicious! Each bite is cheesy and packed with flavor.

Recipe Inspiration
This pasta dish is one of the most popular dishes in the United States restaurant chain, The Cheesecake Factory. I grew up ordering this dish and wanted to recreate a super easy version of the dish at home.
With four different types of cheese, marinara, and fresh basil, this homemade version is just as good (and less expensive) as the restaurant version!
As a cookbook author and recipe developer, this is one of my favorite pasta recipes for entertaining. It's super kid friendly and great for any crowd! And it's SO easy to make.

🧀 What Makes This Better Than Cheesecake Factory?
While I love ordering this dish at Cheesecake Factory, making it at home has some serious advantages. First, the sauce is even fresher because you're using high-quality cheese and there's no sitting under heat lamps. Second, you can control the richness and seasoning to your taste. Want it extra cheesy? Add more Parmesan. Prefer a little heat? A pinch of red pepper flakes does the trick.
And let's talk about cost - one serving at the restaurant can easily run $20+, but you can make multiple servings at home for a fraction of the price. I always aim to recreate restaurant favorites in a way that feels just as indulgent but more approachable for everyday cooking.
Why You'll Love this Recipe
- Delicious - This four cheese pasta recipe is so delicious. Each bite is packed with flavor that your family will truly love! It's really a perfect dish for the whole family. Great for entertaining too!
- Approachable - This recipe is approachable and is easy to make. You only need a few kitchen tools to make this great recipe. The best part of this pasta recipe is easy enough to make for a weeknight, but also fancy-feeling enough to make for a date night!
- Easy - This dish looks like it came from the kitchen of a restaurant, but is so easy to make!
🧀 What Cheeses Are in Four Cheese Pasta?
The magic of four cheese pasta is in the blend. While Cheesecake Factory doesn't publicly list their exact ratio, this copycat version uses a balanced combination of:
- Parmesan (for sharp, salty depth)
- Shredded Mozzarella (for melty texture)
- Mozzarella Ball (for melt and stretch)
- Ricotta (for ultra-creamy texture)
Each cheese plays a different role. Parmesan brings saltiness and complexity, while mozzarella adds that smooth melt. The final result is a velvety, rich sauce that coats every bite of pasta.
If you love creamy pasta recipes, this cheese blend is what gives it that signature restaurant-style finish.

How to Make This Dish Extra Creamy
If you want your four cheese pasta to be next-level creamy, here are a few pro tips:
• Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining - adding a splash helps emulsify the sauce.
• Use freshly grated cheese instead of pre-shredded (it melts more smoothly).
• Stir the cheese in off heat to prevent graininess.
• Finish with a small pat of butter for shine and silkiness.
These small adjustments make a big difference in texture and give you that glossy, restaurant-quality sauce.
