So I used our protein powder and the scoops were rather big .. I went ahead and added 2 like the recipe says but it was super thick after shaking it so I added some more milk. I guess I’ll see how they taste in the morning lol I guess my question is was it really 2 scoops of protein powder ? Or should I have only used 1?
Christina Musgrave says
If your protein powder scoops are very large (some have the equivalent to two scoops in one scooper) you can only add one scoop and add milk to make the oats less thick!
Cheryl says
Just to be clear (sorry so new to this!) This us for two servings so when i remove from refrigerator I should portion to half?
Christina Musgrave says
Yes! I recommend spitting them into two smaller mason jars so you can store them individually. Or, store in a large mason jar and half it for a portion size. It's pretty filling!
Cheryl says
Thank you!!

Can you substitute a 2% milk for the almond milk?
Christina Musgrave says
Absolutely!
Barb says
Is there a way to use pbfit instead of actual peanut butter
Christina Musgrave says
Yes, you definitely could!
Paisia says
These were pretty good taste-wise (as I've gotten used to the taste of protein powder lol), I will make them again, but for Equate vegan protein powder you definitely need to either add one scoop or add more liquid, they were quite thick. Just adding this here in case anyone else is gonna use the same protein powder as I did.
Morgan says
Hello! Could I use rolled oats instead of old fashioned oats? Not sure what the difference is?
Christina Musgrave says
Yes, they should work fine!
