Recipe Inspiration
At Tasting with Tina, we love coffee! In fact, we roast our own coffee beans at home every single week. You can check out how we do it and where to buy coffee in this all-inclusive guide to roasting coffee at home.
A few months ago, we purchased an espresso maker, and it has absolutely been incredible. Between two moves and life being crazy, all of the espresso is definitely needed!
But my favorite part of having this new espresso maker is that I can make lattes all day long! With fall around the corner, I was inspired to create a latte that’s perfect for fall. With just a few ingredients, this easy maple cinnamon latte is it!
I love that this latte is not only easy, but it’s the perfect fall flavor. It’s not too sweet and sugary, but not too bitter to enjoy. This one is great for treating yourself to a fancy-feeling drink on the weekend, or even adding joy to a workday.
Easy Maple Cinnamon Latte Ingredients
Milk or Milk Substitute - I used Oat Milk in this recipe, but you can use whichever milk or milk substitute you prefer.
Espresso - Preferably made fresh with an espresso machine, but you can use store bought too!
Cinnamon - For that perfect fall flavor!
Maple Syrup - Adds a touch of sweetness to the drink.
Cinnamon Stick - Because every good latte needs a garnish!
Directions
First, steam your milk until hot and frothy. Set aside.
Combine espresso, steamed milk, cinnamon, and maple syrup in a mug. Stir well. If desired, you can use a milk frother to make you latte super frothy.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
Kitchen Equipment
Here’s some kitchen equipment I recommend for this recipe. You can buy all of the following products on Amazon.
Espresso Machine: If you love coffee, you definitely need an espresso machine. We bought this one a few months ago and absolutely love it. It’s affordable and makes super high quality espresso.
Mug: I am an absolute sucker for a good coffee mugs. These farmhouse mugs are SO cute and would be great for this latte.
Ground Espresso: Did you know that there is no such thing as an espresso bean? Espresso is just coffee ground and prepared in a certain way. If you don’t have a grinder, definitely look into buying some high quality ground espresso like this brand.
Recipe Variations
Here are a few ways you can change up this recipe:
Honey: If you don't have or don't like maple syrup, substitute it with honey or agave nectar.
Alternative Milks: You can use any milk or milk substitute in this recipe. Oat milk, coconut milk, and almond milk are all delicious in this recipe!
Cocktail: You can easily make this a cocktail! Just add 1 shot of vodka, the rest of the recipe, and ice in a shaker. Shake and serve in a martini glass.
