Spicy Shrimp Fra Diavolo with Bread will be your new weeknight favorite! This easy recipe comes together in just 15 minutes, which makes it perfect for a busy weeknight. This recipe’s key ingredient is Victoria’s Fra Diavolo Sauce. This sauce is made with simple and fresh ingredients - Italian tomatoes, fresh garlic, fresh basil. Its so similar to the classic marinara but has red crushed peppers added in to give it a delicious kick! And even better, there are no preservatives, so you can be confident in feeding your family this high quality product.
Recipe Inspiration
Weeknights are crazy for all of us. With after school activities, late workdays, and hectic schedules, sometimes getting a quality and delicious meal on the weeknight dinner table can seem impossible.
This recipe was created with that struggle in mind. Because even though your night is busy, that does not mean you have to sacrifice a high quality meal!
In just 15 minutes, this recipe will make you feel as though you’re on vacation on the coast of Southern Italy.
You’ll start the recipe by sautéing chopped onion in olive oil. Next, you’ll add garlic, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and white wine. After that has cooked, you’ll add shrimp and cook until they’re fully cooked.
The recipe is finished with the key ingredient - Victoria’s Fra Diavolo Sauce. This delicious sauce brings the whole dish together.
I love serving this recipe in a large bowl topped with freshly chopped Italian Parsley, lemon wedges, and of course, a fresh baguette to dip into the sauce!
About Victoria Pasta Sauce
I love Victoria Pasta Sauce for so many reasons. First, like in this recipe, their sauce takes simple ingredients and transforms them into something delicious!
Their sauce is slow kettle-cooked, which gives it an authentic homemade Italian flavor. Their dedicated high-quality cooking uses the best ingredients to yield a fantastic sauce.
I also love that Victoria Pasta Sauce uses 100% Italian tomatoes. Many brands do not, and it makes a huge difference in taste and texture. They have been using real Italian tomatoes since the company was started in it’s original Brooklyn plant in 1929. How cool is that? No matter what you are making, Victoria Pasta Sauce is a great option to elevate any meal!
Recipe Serving Suggestions
I suggest serving this family style, with fresh baguettes sliced on the side. Let each family member add their own helping to a plate and dip the bread into Victoria’s delicious Fra Diavolo Sauce.
To make this recipe more filling, you may add pasta. A small pasta shape like penne would work nicely with this recipe. Another great addition to this recipe would be steamed broccoli or roasted asparagus.
You could also make this recipe as an appetizer for hosting. It would pair very well with a Roasted Tomatoes and Burrata appetizer for an Italian themed appetizer pairing.
