This S'mores Old Fashioned recipe is the perfect cozy cocktail for the holiday season. With smoky scotch, cocoa powder, nocino, and a flaming marshmallow, this cocktail is sure to impress.
Everyone loves s'mores, and this drink brings classic s'mores flavors to life! I love this fun cocktail in the wintertime during the holidays.
Recipe Inspiration
The weather has been cooling down lately, and I am definitely missing parts of summer. One of my favorite summertime treats are s'mores, so I wanted recreate those flavors in a cocktail!
The trick to this drink is using peated Scotch. Peated scotch has a rich, smoky aroma and flavor. It can be very overpowering to beginner scotch and whisky enthusiasts, but to scotch and whisky lovers, it has a cult following.
I love this recipe because it uses the smoke of the peated scotch as a key flavor of the cocktail. The smoke in the scotch combines beautifully with nocino and is balanced out by a little sugar.

This is a very special recipe to me as it reminds me of my grandparents (RIP) and their “cocktail hour”. The smoky scotch is the big key in my opinion. You can look like a seasoned mixologist following this recipe and who doesn’t love getting to use some open flame in the kitchen?
