Vegan Cauliflower Steaks

  • 1 head cauliflower cut into "steaks"
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • pinch of salt and pepper


  • Cut cauliflower into steaks and rub both sides with olive oil.
  • Mix spices together and sprinkle spices on both sides of the cauliflower.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add remaining olive oil to the pan.
  • Add cauliflower steaks to the pan. Make sure that the whole surface of the cauliflower is completely flat on the pan.
  • Sear for 4 minutes, or until the cauliflower is nicely browned. Flip, and sear the other side for 4 minutes or until done to your liking.
  • Serve over rice and your favorite veggies. Enjoy!
