  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 white onion chopped
  • 1 red pepper chopped
  • 2 jalapeños chopped
  • 1 can black beans drained
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup Shullsburg Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Lime slices for serving
  • ½ cup diced cilantro for serving
  • 1 avocado for serving
  • 1 Prairie Farms Sour Cream Pouches for serving


  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Once shimmering, add the beef and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add the onions, red pepper, jalapeños to the pan. Sauté for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are soft.
  • Add black beans, cumin, garlic powder, chici powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet and mix well. 
  • Reduce heat to low and top with shredded cheddar cheese. Cover until cheese is melted. 
  • Garnish with lime slices, cilantro, avocado, and Prairie Farms Sour Cream.
