This Blackened CreamyCajun Pasta with Salmon is the perfect blend of bold and creamy. Tender linguine gets tossed in a rich, cheesy tomato sauce and topped with perfectly seared salmon for a dinner that’s easy to make but feels a little fancy.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain pasta and set aside.
While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Pat Salmon dry and season with blackened seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Add salmon to the skillet skin side down and sear for 5 minutes per side.
Add crushed tomatoes to the pan over low heat. Add heavy cream and parmesan cheese and stir well, until combined. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until gently simmering. Add pasta to the pan and toss. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water 1 tablespoon at a time as needed.
Top with seared salmon, additional parmesan cheese, and Italian parsley and serve.
