This crispy cheesy cauliflower gnocchi uses Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi for a golden, crispy, saucy dish with marinara and melted cheese. Easy and delicious.

olive oil

12 oz packages Trader Joe’s frozen cauliflower gnocchi
2
cloves
garlic
minced
2
cups
marinara sauce
1
cup
mozzarella cheese
shredded or sliced
¼
cup
grated parmesan cheese
pinch
red pepper flakes
optional
fresh basil
for serving
Instructions
Heat the skillet.
Preheat the broiler and heat olive oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat.
Cook the gnocchi.
Add the frozen cauliflower gnocchi directly to the skillet in a single layer. Do not thaw.
Brown the gnocchi.
Cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the gnocchi are heated through and starting to brown.
Crisp the gnocchi.
Let the gnocchi cook undisturbed for 2–3 minutes so they develop a golden, crispy exterior.
Add garlic and sauce.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then pour in the marinara sauce and stir to combine.
Add the cheese.
Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan evenly over the gnocchi.
Broil.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and broil for 3–5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Finish and serve.
Top with fresh basil and a pinch of red pepper flakes before serving.
