Ingredients

pasta
4
tablespoons
unsalted butter
4
cloves
garlic
minced
¼
cup
white miso
1
cup
grated parmesan cheese
plus more for serving
Pinch
of black pepper
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, about 7-8 minutes. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
Add butter and garlic to a large skillet over medium-low heat. Sauté for 2 minutes, until fragrant. Add miso and stir well.
Add pasta, ½ cup pasta water, parmesan, and black pepper to the pan.
Toss vigorously, until sauce is smooth. Add more pasta water as needed.
Top with additional parmesan cheese and serve.
