No Thanksgiving table is complete without a rich, homemade delicious Brown Gravy to pour over turkey and mashed potatoes. This recipe is smooth, flavorful and comes together with just a few simple ingredients. It’s a must-have recipe for holiday meals!
Melt the butter. Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add butter and let it melt completely.
Make a roux. Whisk in the flour and cook until smooth and golden.
Add liquids and seasonings. Slowly pour in the beef stock while constantly whisking. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Thicken the gravy. Continue whisking until smooth and thickened. Serve immediately.
